What types of projects do you work on?

We specialise in residential and small-scale commercial projects. This includes extensions, loft conversions, internal alterations (such as removing load-bearing walls), new builds, and structural assessments. We also work with homeowners, builders, architects, and developers.

Do I need a structural engineer?

We assess the impact of the changes and provide structural calculations and drawings to ensure the building remains safe and compliant.ith no obligation.

What will I receive from you?

You will receive a set of structural calculations and, where required, structural drawings. These documents are suitable for submission to Building Control and provide your builder with the technical detail needed to carry out the work safely. no obligation.

Are your designs approved by Building Control?

Yes, all of our structural designs are prepared in accordance with the relevant Eurocodes and are accepted by Building Control across the UK. If your local authority has any comments, we’re happy to make amendments free of charge.

Do you visit the site?

Yes, for most projects we carry out a site visit to assess the existing structure, take measurements, and discuss your plans in person. This helps ensure our designs are accurate and tailored to your property. In some cases, we may be able to work from architectural drawings and photographs alone.

How long does it take?

Turnaround times vary depending on the size and complexity of the project, but we typically deliver designs within 5–10 working days of the site visit or receipt of full information. We’ll always provide an estimated timeline when you book.

How much does it cost?

Our fees are competitive and based on the size and scope of the work. We’re happy to provide a fixed-price quote once we understand the details of your project. There are no hidden costs — and any required amendments for Building Control are included.

Can you work with my architect or builder?

Yes — we frequently work as part of a project team alongside architects, builders, and surveyors. We’re happy to liaise directly with them to coordinate the structural aspects of the design and ensure a smooth process from start to finish.

What areas do you cover?

We are based in the Midlands and cover Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry, Wolverhampton, and surrounding areas. For certain projects, we may also offer remote design services using architectural drawings and photos — get in touch to check if we can help.
